Kids Night Out: Hoops Hullabaloo Saturday, March 7 | 6 - 8:30 pm | Lakeside Terrace $50 per child | Ages 6–12 Get ready for a high-energy Kids Night Out: Hoops Hullabaloo packed with friendly competition, team spirit, and nonstop fun. Kids are encouraged to wear their favorite college jersey or school colors as they jump into an action-filled evening of games, including 3-point shooting contests, relay races, dodgeball, and flag football. Many of the activities will be split into Team Coach Christian vs Team Coach Adam, adding an extra layer of excitement and playful rivalry throughout the night. Dinner will be provided, and after all the action, kids will wind down with a movie and popcorn to wrap up a fun-filled evening with friends. Deerwood Spring Fling Scramble Saturday, March 14 | 9 am Shotgun Start | Deerwood Club Shake off winter and spring into golf season with a fresh, fun twist on a classic scramble. The Deerwood Spring Fling Scramble is open to all Deerwood Members, including Associate Members, and is a joint DWGA and MGA event created to bring our entire golf community together. Teams will be randomly paired to encourage camaraderie and connection, with DWGA and MGA Members mixed throughout. No handicap is required, and spouses are welcome to sign up together. Whether you are new to Club events or a regular participant, this is a relaxed, social day of golf focused on fun first. What to Expect: • Open to all Deerwood Members, including Associate Members • Mixed teams featuring both DWGA and MGA Members (MGA Participation points will be given) • A lively, welcoming atmosphere with friendly competition • $15 entry fee per person, including: o One raffle ticket for prizes o One drink ticket (beer, wine, seltzer, or soda) o A taco to enjoy after the round This is a great opportunity to meet new playing partners, enjoy Deerwood’s beautiful course, and kick off the season with a fun, inclusive event we hope everyone will feel comfortable joining. The Deerwood Spring Fling Scramble is open to all Deerwood Members, including Associate Members, and is a joint DWGA and MGA event created to bring our entire golf community together. Teams will be randomly paired to encourage camaraderie and connection, with DWGA and MGA Members mixed throughout. No handicap is required, and spouses are welcome to sign up together. Whether you are new to Club events or a regular participant, this is a relaxed, social day of golf focused on fun first. After the concert, relax on the ride back to the Club and let us handle the drive. Start your morning at the Club with parfaits, pastries, coffee, and tea, plus a Member charge bar to sip and socialize before we depart. At 8:30 am, we’ll board the bus and head to Round Top, giving you the day to explore renowned vendors, discover rare antiques, shop unique home décor, and soak in the unmistakable small-town Texas charm that makes this event so special. After a full day of treasure hunting, relax on the ride back and let us handle the drive. We’ll return to the Club around 6 pm, bags - and hearts - full of unforgettable finds. Starting September 27th, we'll be hosting classes on the last Saturday of every month from 12:00 PM – 4:30 PM. This hands-on training covers essential life-saving techniques and is perfect for anyone looking to be ready when it matters most.
