If you love to read, this book is for you! This life-changing novel is written by the critically acclaimed author, Paulo Coelho. Paulo Coelho de Souza is a Brazilian lyricist and novelist best known for his international bestseller The Alchemist, translated into over 80 languages and selling millions worldwide. Once a songwriter for artists like Raul Seixas, he turned to fiction after a spiritual awakening on the Camino de Santiago, inspiring The Pilgrimage. His works, including Brida, Veronika Decides to Die, and Eleven Minutes, blend spirituality, symbolism, and self-discovery. Though sometimes criticized as overly didactic, Coelho is celebrated for his philosophical storytelling and founded the Paulo Coelho Institute for social causes. The Aleph follows Paulo, mired in a crisis of faith, as he sets off across Africa, Europe, and Asia in search of renewal. As usual, this Cocktails with a Cause event will be presenting a $1 per cocktail donation- but this time there is something more in store! 25% of ticket sales will also be donated to support those newly diagnosed with breast cancer through hereforthegirls.org ! Since October is breast cancer awareness month, we stepped up our efforts here at Town Point Club, and we hope you will join us! Put on your most beautiful black attire and come listen to guest speaker Ace Marie- a survivor, single mother, and girl boss- as she goes over her story, advocates for others, and inspires us all to work together as a community to better this city!
